Space To Talk Counselling
Your counselling journey starts here.
You Don’t Have to Face Life’s Challenges Alone
The world is a crazy scary overwhelming place a lot of the time. On top of just general societal turmoil, coping with your own trauma, anxiety, self-esteem issues, or complicated family dynamics can feel impossible on your own. Counselling can help! I offer compassionate, tailored online counselling to help you feel heard and a little less alone. Starting therapy can feel awkward and weird, so a free consultation is just a low-pressure way to dip a toe in - meet me, ask questions, and see how it feels.
When life gets overwhelming, it’s normal to feel stuck or unsure of where to turn. Counselling provides a compassionate space to explore your feelings, gain clarity, and find new ways forward.
Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Georgina.
It sound cheesy, but counselling feels like my calling, and being able to do this as a profession is truly a dream come true. I’m deeply passionate about the changes counselling can bring -whether it’s finding a way through trauma, making sense of overwhelming emotions, or rebuilding confidence. If you’re open to the process, counselling can be life-changing - trust me, I’ve seen it and it’s why I do what I do.
If there’s one thing I can promise you about your counselling journey with me, is that it won’t be boring. Obviously there will be sessions where it feels hard and heavy, but there are also sessions where, honestly, we can be in fits of laughter together and those sessions can be equally as healing. (Full disclosure - these are some of my favourite).
My journey began back in 2020, during COVID when everyone and your uncle was stepping into a career change (what else was there to do right??). I’ve been trained in Person-Centred, Transactional Analysis, and Gestalt therapy. Since then, I’ve worked at an NHS-funded grief counselling centre (this was life changing) and a free counselling service in the UK, supporting clients through grief, anxiety, trauma, and general life challenges.
I take an “integrative approach” - this is therapy speak which essentially means “'I’m not a robot”. Everyone is unique, and I believe in the importance of treating each client as their own person. As I get to know you I mould my approach to suit you - and I encourage you to let me know what works for you and what doesn’t!
In case I haven’t said it enough - I LOVE what I do. Being given the privilege of walking side by side with my clients as they move towards the life they want and learning to show themselves compassion is the honour of my life.
